So sweet and hilarious. The audiobook narrator puts on a whole performance with this one! Really good and unique premise yet still feels realistic. The ending fell a little flat for me but it was sweet. 3.5 stars

"Just when I think I'm mastering reading in Spanish, I pick up this book.
I knew it was going to be a challenge as I have read it in English and even that was a discombobulating experience.
I'm doing my best to understand everything through context but when I finally look up a word and it adds so much nuance, I realize I'm not taking in the book as it's meant to be understood." — Oct 11, 2026 07:42AM
