“There’s a right thing to do,” Holden said. “You don’t have a right thing, friend,” Miller said. “You’ve got a whole plateful of maybe a little less wrong.”
This resonated with me in a big way. I see a lot of myself in Holden as I tend to get frustrated with the idea that everyone must “choose a side.” This idealism can lead to times where there are no good decisions. Just some that are less wrong than others when a decision must be made. I still freaking hate that though.
