"I finished reading the letters and moving to chapter 1 now. I didn't really expect the story to begin like this... The scientist meeting Mr. Robert in a ship and telling his story to him. I really expected that Robert would become the scientist in the future haha... though now thinking more about it, I wonder how I even got that idea xD This start feels fresh, and the story feels grounded... looking forward to it!" "And now this book has become a page turner! I really can't get enough of August and Jane. And Billy's. And her roommates... they are eccentric, but seems like they all have good hearts.
Jane seems like a really lovely person. Hope we get to know more about her soon!
P.S The first conversation was really something, haha. And the lipstick conversation was so cute >3<"

Kamal Ravikant
“As you love yourself, life loves you back.  I don't think it has a choice either.  I can't explain how it works, but I know it to be true.”
Kamal Ravikant, Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It

Guy de Maupassant
“I have an immoderate passion for water; for the sea, though so vast, so restless, so beyond one's comprehension; for rivers, beautiful, yet fugitive and elusive; but especially for marshes, teeming with all that mysterious life of the creatures that haunt them. A marsh is a whole world within a world, a different world, with a life of its own, with its own permanent denizens, its passing visitors, its voices, its sounds, its own strange mystery.”
Guy de Maupassant, The House of Madame Tellier and Other Stories

Brandon Sanderson
“Somebody has to start. Somebody has to step forward and do what is right, because it is right.”
Brandon Sanderson, The Way of Kings

Nina Varela
“She had never really seen a pair of eyes like this. It was like standing in the doorway to a dark room, like balancing on a threshold, holding a lantern up and watching how it kissed some things gold and left other things in shadow. It was the kind of dark that hid and held a lot of things. A hot fluid dark, a summer tide pool dark, a wild breathless dark.”
Nina Varela, Crier's War

Brandon Sanderson
“Brightness...I believe you stray into sarcasm."

"Funny.I thought I'd run straight into it,screaming at the top of my lungs.”
Brandon Sanderson, The Way of Kings
