🇺🇸 I’ve read this thanks to the 12-12-12 challenge and boy it was good. I know the hype was huge when it came out but I didn’t expect to like it this much. The writing style enchanted me, I was hooked from the start. My weakness is ❤️/5 🌶️4/5 📚50/240

🇺🇸 I’ve read this thanks to the 12-12-12 challenge and boy it was good. I know the hype was huge when it came out but I didn’t expect to like it this much. The writing style enchanted me, I was hooked from the start. My weakness is paranormal romances/romances with a touch of magic so this was just perfect for me. I loved how smoothly the time travel plot is introduced and how natural it feels.

The strength of this story lies in its characters for me. The way Clementine is dealing with her grief touched a sensitive chord inside of me. Her pain and regret were so deep, she was losing herself in it and I loved reading about her journey through the healing process. I loved how she Iwan through the apartment’s magic at the right time, his sunshine and tenderness shining on her loss and darkness and helping her through it.

Their love story was a beautiful thing to witness, although full of angst and pain at times but cleansing in a very needed way.

An absolute favorite of mine.

🇫🇷 J'ai lu ce livre grâce à une recommandation pour le challenge 12-12-12 et c'était incroyable.

Je sais que la hype concernant ce livre était importante quand il est sorti, mais je ne m'attendais pas à l'aimer autant. Le style d'écriture m'a enchantée, j'ai été accrochée dès le début.

Mon point faible, ce sont les romances paranormales/avec une touche de magie, donc ce livre était parfait pour moi. Le voyage dans le temps est introduit et expliqué très naturellement et ne gêne pas la compréhension de l’histoire.

Pour moi, la force de cette histoire réside dans ses personnages. La façon dont Clémentine gère son deuil a touché une corde sensible en moi. Sa douleur et ses regrets étaient si profonds qu'elle s'y perdait et j'ai adoré lire son parcours à travers le processus de guérison. J'ai adoré la façon dont la magie de l’appartement se déclenche au moment où elle en a le plus besoin, la faisant rencontrer Iwan au bon moment, son soleil et sa tendresse illuminant sa noirceur et apaisant sa tristesse.

Leur histoire d'amour était un magnifique à lire, bien que pleine de douleur par moments, terrible mais néanmoins nécessaire.
