Falon Ballard is a Los Angeles native who has been writing stories her whole life. After graduating with a degree in Creative Writing, Falon embarked on an eight-year teaching adventure before opening her own event planning business. When she’s not trolling Etsy for the latest merch from her favorite fandoms, she’s hanging out at Disneyland with a pretzel and beer in hand.

Most of us who are published didn't get a book deal with the first book we ever wrote (my debut is my fifth full length novel). The best way to become a better writer is by writing and reading. Find good beta readers and critique partners, read books in your genre, and just keep writing!(less)

“When I decided to relocate and settle in one place, I didn’t even have to think about where to go. I’m the spinning needle of a compass and you’ve always been my true north, Parker.”
Falon Ballard, Just My Type

“Don’t deny yourself something beautiful because you’re already thinking about what happens if it goes wrong.”
Falon Ballard, Right on Cue

“You held my hand for the first time in the backseat of a bus.”
A soft chuckle escapes him. “I don’t think I’ve ever been more nervous in my life.”
“I doubt that.” I nudge him with my elbow because suddenly, sitting here pressed up against him, it would be so very easy to reach down and pick up his hand.
“Parker. Come on. I’d been in love with you since I was six. It took me eight years to work up the courage to hold your hand.” He gives me a nudge back, and the movement causes our hands to brush each other. His fingers twitch and I wonder if he’s fighting the same instinct I am.”
