"I had a bookclub about this recently, which convinced me to give book 2 a try. So here I am, continuing book 1 where I left off in 2023.
Apparently the first half is the worst, since the side characters are getting interesting and there are signs that Darrow might develop a personality trait.
The writing style still spams short sentences though, and Darrow must have read this book already because he knows everything." — Dec 06, 2025 03:18PM
