"Stephen King can be so funny sometimes when he’s just narrating the story but he sucks at writing intentionally funny characters/moments. Richie is funny in the movies, but his character feels underdeveloped on paper, and the other characters laugh at the most random, dry stuff. I feel like a party pooper but bro, the jokes are dry. "This book is written so beautifully that I’m beginning to find beauty in the “unimportant” moments of my own life. Reading it in a moving car at 7am with “Salvatore” by Lana del Rey blasting in my ears is the peak human experience.
