These 3 books will permanently live on my kindle, the paperbacks will forever take pride of place on my bookshelf (all 3 once this one is released) and I will forever quote this series as my favourite books I've read.

Hand on heart, this is the only the second book I've cried in (first was the boy in the striped pyjamas) but I cannot put in to words how much I loved this book/series. Love isn't even a strong enough word to describe it.

Francis and Vitari are rare characters that don't come along often, at least not for me. They're pure and raw, they hide nothing but also everything and I don't think I'll ever get over this series. I want what they have, as messed up as it is in the beginning, I still want it because it's real. And writing that about 2 people that don't actually exist, to make you feel like they truly do and you're almost invading their lives by reading about it is not something that's easily done. This wasn't a 'story', this was so much more than that and, if by any chance Ariana Nash ever gets to read this, then thank you. Thank you so much for these phenomenal men who will literally live in my head, heart and soul for a very long time.

The story to this takes you on such an emotional rollercoaster. I felt everything in this, everything. There are times when they're happy but, deep down, you know that's not going to last and something will come along (or Vitari will leave again in the night - will he never learn?!) to bring that happiness crashing down again. Or, if there's angst/tension/downright fear that something seriously bad will happen then you don't get the usual 'it'll be alright' feeling you tend to get with most romance novels. There's literally no way you can guess/predict what will happen next, no matter which God you pray to. Like Francis, God can't help you in predicting how this one will turn out.

It's amazing, I know I've said it already but it really is. It's amazing, it's hot, it has sexual chemistry that is off the scale and it has a love most people have only ever dreamed of. It's perfection in a paperback (or kindle in my case) and it will never EVER get out of my head ❤️

This was just the perfect ending and there were so many times where I was convinced one or both would die, then convinced that they wouldn't, then back to 'they would'. There is no obvious HEA in this, there's also no doubt that death is a massive possibility and I hated it. I hate that I loved it too!
