This is SO GOOD and I couldn't relate to anything more than I relate to this. Everyone copes with loss differently, but I can say that for me personally - this here was everything. Losing my sister was a massively hard thing and I miss her all the time. I know there were times when people were cautious or even almost afraid to say anything about her because they were worried it would upset me - or sometimes they just didn't know what to say. and that's okay. But for me, talking about her made it easier. That was actually HOW I managed my grief. Otherwise, yea.... it felt like it just sat in my chest - or got stuck in there as this character put it. Perfectly said.
