" This book was so beautiful. I loved Mer and Wit so much! He was so funny I swear, also he was such a flirt where is my Wit? I literally want their relationship so much. I thought about giving this 4 stars because it annoyed me when she called him Osc This book was so beautiful. I loved Mer and Wit so much! He was so funny I swear, also he was such a flirt where is my Wit? I literally want their relationship so much. I thought about giving this 4 stars because it annoyed me when she called him Oscar, I never understood why she did- like that’s his middle name. I get why she calls him Stephan at the end, I mean that’s his name but I didn’t like when she kept calling him “Oscar Witry,” like okay we get it haha. But this book is definitely a five star and so worth the read. It made me sob at parts, especially at the end, so get your tissues ready- my eyes hurt. It was so touching how Sarah and Michael had a baby and named her after Claire, that was so beautiful. Instant tears there. The part where she’s talking about college really made me think and honestly I loved that part because it’s literally me with how I think about college and I sent that part to my best friend and told her “this is literally me with college” or something like that. The part is this:
Do you want to be close to home? I knew my grandfather was asking now. Or do you need to be close to home?
Need, I thought. At least back then- it had been less than a year since we lost Claire, and I remembered still feeling so crippled with grief that I couldn't imagine leaving Clinton.
The idea of my parents being a phone call away instead of a walk down the hall from campus rattled me. I'm safe had been my reaction upon reading my acceptance letter. I'm going to be safe. The bottom line: I'd applied to college in my hometown because I was scared of leaving. My sister had died on her first big adventure away from home, so I didn't want an adventure. I wanted family; I wanted familiar.”

I’m so in love with this book, I don’t normally read romance because I don’t like how cringey they can be, but this wasn’t cringey at all, I loved it so much and wish more books are like this. If anyone knows of any romance books like this amazing one can you comment it lol! I love this so much AHH I’m gonna be in such a reading slump after this😌! One of my favorites!! ...more "
