When I was in my first job, a senior asked me, “What do you think? Are you enjoying it?” And with sigh I answered, “Yeah, but it’s not like what I imagine I would be doing. I mean it’s nothing to do with my major in college.” And he said almost the same as this statement. “Don’t think about it that way. Just do whatever’s best. This is also marketing (my major). You can learn to manage relationships with clients, give an astonishing experience for them so that they keep coming back to us. You’re not just an administrator.” And that totally changed my mindset 🥰
