This god damn book! It had me at chapter 1. I’ve been looking for a book which stands up to The Kite Runner by KS and it comes pretty close. Only thing I wished for was a bit more sympathy for the main characters… in a way. Not sure how to describe it. A must read for anyone needing to understand immigration or asylum. It made me cry and it’s one I’ll think about for a long time after
