Holy AMAZEBALLS Batman. Gabby truly outdid herself. The Puck Decoy is book two in the Fairfield U series and can be read as a standalone even though the storyline begins in book one, The Puck Secret. I strongly recommend you read TPS first for the best reading experience, but as always you do you! Just let it be known TPS is a phenomenal book, so you're welcome for a 2-for-1 rec!

Hallie Sanders is such a badass FMC. I loved her sass and strength. She also happens to be the first FMC I've ever read that the author clearly states that she has autism. Gabby kindly reminds everyone at the beginning of the book that autism spectrum disorder is just that. A spectrum. No two people are alike, but Hallie being autistic is a large part of the story and warmed this autism mama's heart to no end.

Josh Peters is a man who thinks he can never have a successful relationship because his parents is all a facade. Little does Josh know that not only is he capable of being in a loving, committed relationship, but he will excel at being in one. He is that MMC you love because not only is he possessive and protective, but he is sweet and thoughtful. He is determined to change the future of his family, and nothing will stop him.

Hallie + Josh together are absolute perfection. These two met when they were 9 and 11 and formed an unbreakable bond. Their shared history allowed for some of the best banter I've ever read. At times these two had me laughing out loud and then crying multiple times. But the most important thing about this book is the feeling of pure JOY I felt from the first word to the last. I hope you'll read it and love it just as much as I did! ...more "
