I really enjoyed this book. I think if it weren't for the sometimes excessively lengthy letters full of philosophical and theological arguments, this could have been a five star from me. As it stands I skimmed a bit during those parts and I hate to do that. However, this period in history, of which I knew little to nothing, combined with an unforgettable heroine makes this a wonderful read.
