Perhaps it was not completely clichè. Unlike The Kissing Booth.

So yeah, anyway, I was already aware that a Beth Reekles exist, because of wattpad. I also knew that she's just as old as I am. Which is why I was shocked. I mean, if her book was published in all parts of the world, I thought it meant that it was pretty good and better than Rolling Dice. Then so I bought it.

But boy how wrong was I. The Kissing Booth is in all ways predictable and clichè! Girl falling head over heels over a hot bad-boy? Uhh wake up, it's the 21st century already, it's no longer unique. I mean, I guess it would have been less clichè if the way they fell for each other was different. But no. Altho, I do like how Lee and Elle treat each other as just friends, no more no less. And that's all.

Ok no. I don't exactly have the right to criticize this book much because I actually didn't finish reading it. And I don't plan on continuing. I stopped at chapter 6 and I sort of predicted where it was heading and whenever I start predicting, I skip to the bottom of the story -- so that I can see if I was right, and if ever I am, I'd stop reading to not waste time. But if I'm wrong, then I still continue. Even if I got spoiled already. But that rarely happens because whenever I feel like the story is going to end up predictable, I'm always right. (Not meaning to be full of pride, but yeah) :/ so yeah, I was right. The ending of TKB is exactly how I predicted it. And I was dissappointed. As I've mentioned earlier, I've read Rolling Dice and I assumed that TKB would at least be just as good. But bleh. Rolling Dice should have been the one published instead. I mean, MAYBE it was clichè to some people but it's less worse than TKB. Also, there are a lot more other stories in Wattpad that deserves being published. Not some clichè teenager love story.

I guess TKB is nice, it has scenes that every teenager dreams of, but... Stories are supposed to be unique and unpredictable. In a good way, where readers would be satisfied. You can just write for the sake of writing.

But don't get me wrong. I still admire Beth Reekles because of her Rolling Dice. I just think that that should have been published instead. TKB is nice, but it's not what we readers are seeking for.
