Sob a jaqueta de lã do Bretão ou na gibona de couro do vaqueiro, o pavor é idêntico, vendo, debaixo das oiticicas imensas ou na penumbra dos menires batidos pelo luar, a figura ligeira e negra, impressionadora e terrível do "loup-garou", do lobisomem, capelobo dos índios, erudito "versipellio", herança atávica do medo na alma triste dos homens...
