“By changing our thinking, we can change our reality. And if that is true, then we are only ever one thought away from transforming our lives and letting go of our suffering.”
― Joseph Nguyen, Don't Believe Everything You Think

“Any meaning or thinking we give something is self-created and our choice.”

“In full bloom, a sakura’s beauty is breathtaking: twisted boughs disappearing beneath a gentle embrace of pink flowers as soft as clouds. Yet even at the spectacular peak of their full bloom, the first cherry petals begin to drift away from the branches, a few at first, then over the days to come, a rain that carpets the ground. Within a week, glory has come and gone. The sakura is a tree, but it is also a metaphor for the bittersweet impermanence of things. We treasure the cherry precisely because its beauty is as radiant as it is fleeting. It is a living poem that reminds us of ourselves.”

“That’s what money does, Simon, it really causes problems.”
