Graham Bartlett, police consultant extraordinaire, for trying to keep the procedural side of the book within the bounds of reality.
Another beautifully complicated crime novel. The eleventh in the Ruth Galloway, forensic archeologist, series. This arrived today. I have been confined to bed and simply guzzled down the whole book in a day. I feel awful that the author has sweated tears for months, maybe years, only the have her reading public devour it in one fell swoop. All I can say, Ms Griffiths, is that you should try not to write such compelling, intelligent crime novels populated with interesting human beings, great plots, love, death, babies, and all manner of complex emotional interweavings. PS. I loved it.
“I'm Min's fairy godmother, Charm Boy,' Liza said, frowning down at him. 'And if you don't give her a happily ever after, I'm going to come back and beat you to death with a snow globe.'
What happened to "bibbity bobbity boo"?' Cal asked Min.
That was Disney, honey,' Min said. 'It wasn't a documentary.”

“Nobody in my life has ever known me the way you do. Nobody in my life has ever made me feel as good as you do. You know me, you know everything about me, and when you leave me, you're going to be leaving the real me, the me nobody else has ever seen, that's who you're going to be rejecting.”
