I was filled with anticipation and expectations for this story. I did not know if the book could outdo or live up to the story in the original books. Well, OF COURSE she did it once again! If someone asks me If I have a favorite series from all the books I have read...there are three. And this is definitely one of them!

Anything this author puts out is ALWAYS exceptional...but, this series, or saga, will leave you breathless with anticipation page to page to see what happens next. Her level of writing just keeps exceeding her last work. She has a BRILLIANT imagination and each page keeps you holding your breath, LOL, crying, or shouting out loud at the characters. You WILL become very emotionally involved with the characters, they are so life-like.

Each character displays a depth of emotion through actions and words. You can actually feel it coming off the pages. The love stories, sacrifices, and betrayals are astonishing. You will definitely be thinking about these situations long after you read the last page. The newest installment leaves me with many questions. I KNOW the series will be expanded upon now and I am jumping in glee.

We all know what it is to sacrifice for those we love. The depths we will go to to protect what is ours. Include no boundaries and in a fantasy world, we can pull out all the stops to make it happen. Just when you think you know a character, well, SURPRISE~ I never saw this coming for this character and his life before Realm of Ash introduced him to us. He has lost two of the most precious things in his life that cannot be replaced. How did he go on? How does he deal with this on a daily basis...even with all the years in between?!

Moreover, what will become of those left behind? I LOVE book boyfriends, fated mates, cliffhangers, and so much more. It leaves us guessing as to how things will transpire in the future books. I, for one, am looking forward to reading what will still come to fruition and how it will play out considering what we already know.

I also love the world building each character experiences with what life and fate put them through. This will be another deeply, emotional, twisted love story that will leave an impression on our souls. What these characters go through, I could not even begin to describe or explain what occurs. Pick up this series and read it in its entirety...this is one you NEED to put on your TBR. Hurry...you are missing out on EPIC stories, adventures, love, fated mates, betrayals, lots of exciting twists and turns...most of all...how the author weaves a tale that will seriously leave you feeling like your soul, body and mind have been twisted and scraped raw from all the deep set emotional roller coaster you WILL experience. ...more "

Valainah believes she might be going crazy at first until she discovers what is really happening. More spying, intricate plots, suspense, angst, surprise appearances, mystery, love, humor, and so much more just between these two covers! Santana is still her evil self, and I think she might even have become deadlier. She is willing to do ANYTHING for that crown and proves it!
We will read how much Jarod truly cares for his progeny! Kaysee will display her intelligence, combat skills, leadership, and more. Maverick…poor Maverick will literally be put in a place no one else wants to be! Zara, our favorite little Wednesday-like Vamp will have a few big surprises in store as well. Rainer will be his exemplary usual self. I cannot truly get into too much about the book for there is just too much to even explore!
It is a lit fuse that at the end will explode your senses and keep you guessing as to what is happening and will happen. Fast-paced, easy to read in one sitting (which you will want to do anyway), and intensity on another level. You will have your favorites for sure, but will one of the bad vamps turn out to not be so bad after all and vice versa? I could NOT put this one down. Each book is part of the series but contains stories unto themselves. I cannot pick a favorite part…there are too many!
The author really pulled out some surprises and give us an astonishing story to devour! I know she is rewriting many of her books already for the series and I cannot wait for her to get done so I can snatch them up and read them. This is not going fast enough for me!
