Book cover for Lady Chatterley's Lover
A woman could take a man without really giving herself away. Certainly she could take him without giving herself into his power. Rather she could use this sex thing to have power over him. For she only had to hold herself back in sexual ...more

…how a woman could use sex as a tool…from a man’s perspective. Although i understand that Lawrence is trying to say that women can separate themselves from the act of sex, as a woman I have to disagree that it’s possible to not give some part of you away during such an intimate moment, it’s almost impossible not to. Just the very act of mechanical sex for a woman still involves opening herself to such an intrusion so that even if she didn’t want to give anything of herself away, it is impossible to not just lose something in the process. The dissociative act of trying to withhold oneself from the process, is not just a closing of a door, rather a cleaving of the heart; so, in that way something very much is given up.

“People try to use your past against you not realizing you were using it to propel you.”
Kierra C.T. Banks

“Anger is very deadly. It leads to intolerance and this causes depression.

I have discovered people who are temperamental need help so they can overcome such challenges.

Running away from challenges doesn't help but confronting the challenges.

In the practice of tolerance, one's enemy is the best teacher. If you must learn how to control your anger, you must practice it by being around those who usually provoke you the most.

How you respond to their provocation should be rated by you on different occasions, you compare your latest reaction with your past, assess them and think of better ways to improve next time.

Overcoming anger and intolerance is very difficult, but it is possible...it is just a gradual process but change is assured.

Taking advice is easy but following the instructions is difficult but with time, if one is ready to overcome anger, it will be a thing of the past.

Don't give up on yourself!”
