"It’s fascinating! Dante is himself a character in this poem, as is Virgil, Dante’s guide on a journey where he is shown Hell & Purgatory (Heaven comes later). The first part of the trip is the outer gates of Hell, where the “indecisive” are - the first group of damned souls. These were the “moral cowards” who did not fear God while alive. This particular book has great illustrations." — Feb 24, 2019 03:15PM

"Just soooo not my style. I didn't find it to be edifying or inspiring at this point. The writing and the "message" seemed scattered and self-indulgent." — Mar 09, 2018 07:07AM
