"There is a scene relatively at the beginning of the book, where Ryan and Emmie sit down together to talk about the future of the museum. Once they're done Emmie says she's going to lunch with two colleagues and very obviously doesn't invite Ryan along. Maybe it's just me, but that really rubbed me the wrong way.
