" This book was great. Really. At first, the cover didn't really attract me, but I heard from some friend that Maas was a great writer, so I gave it a shot, and wauw. I couldn't put it down. I was so disappointed that I had to study again and stop reading!
So let me start telling what I thought:

Elain and Nesta were ... I don't really know how to explain. At first I really didn't like Nesta because she's hating everyone, but when Feyre returned, she gained my respect somehow. She turned out okay. Elain was kind of a super naïve personallity. She's cute.
Ah, and then Feyre kills the wolf, Andras. At first I didn't understand why the wolf never fought back. But when Alis told the story about the Curse, I understood.
There is a sickness over Prythian, which I now understand as the Curse. All powers from the Fae and High Fae have been reduced, and they can't retrieve them.
Tamlin appears to be so different than the other High Lords, he's kind, doesn't want Feyre to be his slave, because he's a good heart. Maybe also because of the Cure for the Curse, but I don't think he would have acted differently about slavery if he wasn't bound by the Curse.
I know I would act the same as Feyre, because she was forced to come with Tamlin, but she refuses all aid Tamlin wants to give. All the extras she refuses. Later on that vanishes, but at first, she refuses everything he offers. But then he gave her paint, and she's over the top happy. From that moment I knew they were bound te become lovers.
How is she? I was so curious about whe she was, but now I know she is Amarantha. And how I do hate her. She's horrible. I kin dof understand that she's angry for what happened to her sister and Jurian., But com eone, be forgiving. Not everyone is the same, right?
At the Fire Feast Tamlin bit Feyre. I loved the idea of the Fire Feast though, and I kind of hoped that Tamlin would have found Feyre for the ritual, but it turned out fine as it went. I liked it.
And then there is Tamlin and Feyre's first kiss. I loved that! I knew they've become lovers.
The mysterious man Feyre met at the FIre Feast gets a name too; Rhysand. At first I thought that maybe he was Tamlin's brother, but nothing like that is revealed, so I guess not?
Oh and then comes the very beautiful written love scene. Gosh I reread that part a few times. It's beautifully written! Thank you Maas.
When Tamlin sent Feyre back to there village, I kin dof understood why Feyre didn't sayI love you back to Tamlin. She indeed is just a fracture of his immortal life. Then later I gotwhy it was crucial. Since that would have broken the Curse. If only someone told Feyre that, I'm sure she would have, since she is in love with Tamlin.
That is the moment that Nesta earns my respect; she knows everything because Tamlin's spell didn't work on her because of the silver bracelet.
When Feyre found out that the girl who's name she said got brutally murdered, she is sure to retrun to Tamlin, but when she gets there, no one is there. Alis tells her that story about the Curse, and Feyre is destined to go Under the Mountain.
I thought it wasn't wise of Feyre to make that Bargau-in with AMarantha, but come one, I would have done it too for my love. So she gets those three tasks, which I knew she'd pass, or there would be no sequel, hehe.
The first on ei skin dof obvious. Stlay a giant evil worm. She's a born hunter, so this would have been easy. The second task was a little harder, since she must solve a riddle, which she can't read. I think that is cruel, though no one knew. The third task is just pure evil. Kill three innocents. And the last one is Tamlinf or god's sake! How can Amarantha do that? But Feyre finds a way and concures them all. I think it's bitchy of Amarantha to change her promise, since Feyre wasn't specific enough. But then Feyre solves the riddle Amarantha gave her in the beginning, and all is well. Amarantha gets killed and they live happily ever after. Though Feyre died, and came back from the dead as a HIgh Fea.
I'm curious though to the next book, because I want to learn more about Tamlin and Feyre. I want to know how Feyre will deal with her guilt about the two faeries she murdered. And how she'll be as a High Fea. What whill teh next threat be? ...more "
