Synopsis: Aelin is back in Rifthold, ready to fix what she left behind… only she never realized how much she left behind. Chaol snaps at her, Dorian is no longer present inside himself and Arybonn wants her back in the folds. All Aelin wants is Rowan, Aedion and her Kingdom back from the grips of the King. Meanwhile, Manon’s suspicions about what The Thirteen have to do as Wing Leader is growing. Is her grandmother right? Should they trust the Duke and the empty shell that has become Katlain? Manon struggles with her leadership roll, especially as she finds out what happened to the Yellowlegs who volunteered for the Duke’s experiment.

** with that being said, Throne of Glass has finally picked up the pace and I’m so happy to finally have some twists and turns. Books 1-3 were so full of world building it almost felt like the three books were dragging along. Don’t get me wrong, SJM does an amazing world building job, but book 4 does not disappoint and I have only finished part 1 so far. If you thought about giving up on Throne of Glass— DON’T!! Keep going, keep reading, it only gets better. **

Part 2: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Synopsis: Now things have officially begun, the plan to kill Arbybonn, rescue Dorian (is he even worth rescuing?) and saving not only Rifthold but the world from the clutches of the King unfolds. As the tension builds, trying to free magic and themselves from the King, Aelin and Rowan grow closer. Finally deciding to be honest with one another. Katlain, Manon & the witches decide to take matters into their own hands in a twist you’d never see coming.

**with that being said!! Book 4 did NOT disappoint. I don’t know how it can get any better but I understand we still have to deal with Maeve & The Duke. I’m love the way Aelin & Rowan’s relationship has developed, I feel like it differs sooo much from the way Feyre & Rhysand did in ACOTR and I just love that SJM has that diversity within her. I already got Book 5 and I’m ready to not only delve in but I’m not ready to be hearing the end of ToG. I thoroughly loved the pace of this book and the way she developed that ending was PERFECT.
