Maybe we all really do attend church in our own way, whether we believe in gods or not.
I do not believe in the Christian god or for that matter any god in specific. There is definitely a greater power than us but until the universe decides to give us all the details we will have to live with people who believe they are superior because of their belief. We will have to deal with those who use religion to control the masses. Fear is a great motivator and religion uses it to a great advantage.
