The story takes place around Troys house and around Atlanta stadium in Georgia. Troy is only 12 years old and has a special gift, when he goes on the field he is outstanding. The thesis of the story is a 12 year old boy is on a football team, he can see plays before it even happens, but his coach still decides to sit him on the bench for his football team the Tigers. There is a football player on his team, a very famous one, Seth who thinks that Troy has what it takes. The coach is mean through out the whole story. The character is going through Person VS Self because he thinks that lying is gonna get himself away from things. He always lies because in the book his mom commented "You're not only a liar, but you're a thief." Thats how I figured out that he's a liar. He would lie for everything. But now he's changed, he's doing better than lying. I also thought he was using lies to get out of everything is because, in the story his mom said he liked to lie like his mom commented with "You're not only a liar" and thats what got me hooked onto him being a liar. I was surprised when the coach yelled at Troy for getting the team a touch down by fixing the play up, like obviously ''running up the middle'' doesn't work, if the line backers keep blitzing. Troy had fixed the play with a deep pass saying and as his punishment was 10 laps around the football field. The play paragraph was ""Okay, Rusty," Troy added, :it's on you. Red Right, Thirty-one Dive Pass Play, Zebra Post, on one. Ready-. Break" and when he got into trouble "Troy followed the rest of the offense into the end zone to swamp Rusty. When he got there they swamped him too. The kids were laughing and high fives until Coach Renfro ran over into there midst and started grabbing guys by the face mask telling them to calm down. "Hey" he yelled. "Get over to the sideline! Troy, you give me 10 laps." Coach his harsh, like be glad he got you a touchdown Coach ^u^. I was angry about the Coach being mean throughout the whole story. Like man, the kid got more plays than you will ever think of, sitting him down making him do laps, like dang, if you were in one of the situations wouldn't you do something to change it? You got to take chances. In chapter 20-38 onone of the pages it said that "Troy went up to Coach B (forgot how to spell it) and told him what happen, then the Raiders scored a touch down" the coach benched him making Troy upset. ...more "
