‘Oh, Ron!’ Hermione flung her arms around Ron’s neck and broke down completely. Ron, looking quite terrified, patted her very awkwardly on the top of the head. Finally, Hermione drew away.
‘Ron, I’m really, really sorry about Scabbers…,’ she sobbed.
