"I think there should be more black leaders like Deneen Borelli who stand up for liberty and freedom. She's an example of a true patriotic leader." — Jul 22, 2016 08:09PM

"I read the first 4 books of this series. I've heard mixed reviews on the series but I for one enjoy the series. I like Kathy Reichs' analytic style. She's a forensic anthropologist in real life so... lol! I'm probably one of the few people I know who never got into the TV Show based off these books and I have no plans to start." — Apr 24, 2016 08:49PM

"I’ve been an official Republican since I was 18 years old. I want to read this book eventually because I have a lot to say to my younger Republican self. I feel in the past I didn’t stand up for my conservative beliefs in school and other places. If I could go back in time, I would do it differently and I wouldn’t hold back no matter how many liberals ridiculed me." — Apr 22, 2016 02:32PM

“to the conventional wisdom, liberals in my experience tend to be far less open-minded and welcoming of diverse opinions than conservatives.”

“Telling the truth in Washington, D.C., is a radical act. And it earns you the enmity of career politicians in both parties. When you tell the truth about Washington—when you expose the fact that elected officials are misleading the voters who elected them—you pay a price. It’s one thing to criticize the other party. But when you admit publicly that many of those in your own party are complicit in the problem, well, that’s when the long knives come out.”

“Religion and politics are inseparable because the values of our faith should inform what we value in our politics. They both seek to answer questions about the good life.”

“Pretending as a matter of law that men and women are interchangeable, that “monogamish” relationships work just as well as monogamous relationships, that “throuples” are the same as couples, and that “wedlease” is preferable to wedlock will only lead to more broken homes, more broken hearts, and more intrusive government. Americans should reject such revisionism and work to restore the essentials that make marriage so important for societal welfare: sexual complementarity, monogamy, exclusivity, and permanence.”

“Ultimately this is not merely about dreary yet didactic statistics but, as Dr. Williams insisted, it is about morality. The devastating consequences of wealth redistribution, intergenerational thievery, massive federal spending, endless borrowing, and unimaginable debt accumulation on American society, and most particularly on the ruling generation and future generations, are a travesty. Stealing from the future does not establish the utopia promised by the statists. It is the rising generation’s grave moral failure.”
