"I think there should be more black leaders like Deneen Borelli who stand up for liberty and freedom. She's an example of a true patriotic leader." — Jul 22, 2016 08:09PM

"I read the first 4 books of this series. I've heard mixed reviews on the series but I for one enjoy the series. I like Kathy Reichs' analytic style. She's a forensic anthropologist in real life so... lol! I'm probably one of the few people I know who never got into the TV Show based off these books and I have no plans to start." — Apr 24, 2016 08:49PM

"I’ve been an official Republican since I was 18 years old. I want to read this book eventually because I have a lot to say to my younger Republican self. I feel in the past I didn’t stand up for my conservative beliefs in school and other places. If I could go back in time, I would do it differently and I wouldn’t hold back no matter how many liberals ridiculed me." — Apr 22, 2016 02:32PM

“I may be, tied up, but at least, I am HIS. I may be hurting, But I am HIS, I may be reluctant, but I am HIS, I may be lonely, but I am HIS, I may be frustrated, but I am HIS, That’s why I am praising Him, because I’m glad He tied me up. He stopped me from doing the things I would have done, that would’ve messed up myself. When I look at how my friends got loosed, I thank Him for tying me up. When I look at how the neighborhood boys are locked up in jail, I thank Him for tying me up. I am not happy about it then, but I’m glad about it now. When I think about the person I almost married, When I think about the job I almost got, When I think about the people who wouldn’t let me join their clique, When I think about the people who stops talking to me, I thank Him for tying me up. I thank Him for the rope that got me tied up.”

“In the civil society, the individual is recognized and accepted as more than an abstract statistic or faceless member of some group; rather, he is a unique, spiritual being with a soul and a conscience. He is free to discover his own potential and pursue his own legitimate interests, tempered, however, by a moral order that has its foundation in faith and guides his life and all human life through the prudent exercise of judgment.”

“The Founders believed, and the Conservative agrees, in the dignity of the individual; that we, as human beings, have a right to live, live freely, and pursue that which motivates us not because man or some government says so, but because these are God-given natural rights.”
