I nodded my acknowledgement and stepped out of the car. I straightened my jacket and ran my hand through my hair. A touch of grey flecked at my temples, but the brown mostly matched my eyes.
ew, POV switch and now we're talking about our appearance on the first meeting? guys, DON'T do this. if you want to describe your character at the first introduction of them to the reader, USE THIRD PERSON. When you're using first person you kind of forgo your right to describe your MC. Literally NO ONE goes around going "I have brown hair and blue eyes" unless they're an actual psychopath.
