"I had to go read some of the reviews. I picked this book because of the hype that it's getting and all I'm thinking about is how I just can't...Who is the MMC? What is going on? Grooming? Emotional manipulation? Passive aggressive attitude that becomes straight up abuse? I really don't see any romance what so ever in this. It's just dark.
