The aftermath of the Battle of Franklin, much like any other CW battle --though the horrors, violence and pandemonium are multiplied by far in my imagination. The fundamental realities, though from the combatant's perspective, must have been indescribable to live through. Although the ” Black Flower ” is a work of fiction, the reader is given a chance to engage his appreciation of the courage and resilience of the contending adversaries.
