"Just finished chapter 3 of part 2. Thought I was done for the day earlier, but was a bit bored and decided to continue reading. I feel like a broken record with how often I end up saying this, but I'm enjoying this book" — 9 hours, 5 min ago

"It's a lot to take in so far. Each chapter(?) feels as if it has a fully unique writing style and it's taken me a couple of minutes after each chapter to get into the flow of the next. The second chapter about the guy trying to buy weed is probably my favourite so far, as it's a really brilliant portrayal of neurotic anxiety and after reading it I was left feeling quite anxious." — Mar 23, 2026 09:38PM

"not the biggest fan so far. I may warm to it with time, but this will be a very slow read over the foreseeable future" — Nov 06, 2025 10:03PM

A falling star brings luck to him who sees it, Dunk thought. But the rest of them are all in their pavilions by now, staring up at silk instead of sky. So the luck is mine alone.
“What frightened me was the logic of the world; in it lay the foretaste of something incalculably powerful. Its mechanism was incomprehensible, and I could not possibly remain closeted in that windowless, bone-chilling room. Though outside lay the sea of irrationality, it was far more agreeable to swim in its waters until presently I drowned.”
