These days I can hardly recall her face and yet that hem is clear to me, its pattern burned into my fingertips.
Has anyone else read this amazingly clever and engrossing book? I ended up loving it. The characters of Owen and Mabbot are so unique I could barely put the book down. The combination of a kidnapped talented, creative chef and a deadly yet charismatic female pirate is utterly fascinating.
