"I was wondering whether Fort Zeelandia was actually relocated but no, some of its stones were simply used for another fortification. And what is seen today was a complete reconstruction by the japanese in the 1920s and 30s and the white tower is actually from 1975. I think this story should be told, just like how the area around the fort was once mostly water." — Jun 18, 2026 11:33PM
