Julie Kushner grew up in Marlboro, New Jersey and has been a passionate writer and voracious (bordering on obsessive) reader for as long as she can remember. Having always been enthralled with and fascinated by all things media, Julie's brain is a veritable cornucopia of facts and tidbits about the entertainment industry.

These facts and tidbits have been painstakingly collected during countless hours spent watching E! News, reading Entertainment Weekly, and studying the Internet Movie Database with the same dogged intensity with which seminary school students study the King James Bible

Julie received a B.A. in Journalism, with a concentration in Broadcast, from the Pennsylvania State University, summa cum laude, graduating first in her major

Across the Vanishing Sky by Catherine Cowles
" 3.5 stars ✨

Honestly, pretty good. I had a fun time. There were some ups and downs for me especially in the middle but it ended up turning out pretty good. And super easy to read despite some heavier themes.

I did enjoy the small town vibes and the " Read more of this review »
The Shortest History of Scotland by Murray Pittock
"The latest instalment in the Shortest History series delves into Scotland – a nation close to my heart. I learned a lot in this small book!

Murray Pittock traces the history from stone circles and Romans through to modern day and the likes of Brexit. " Read more of this review »

The Caretaker by Marcus Kliewer
"3.5 ⭐

After two books, I'm starting to get a feel for Marcus Kliewer. His stories never make much sense, there's a real dearth of anything resembling an explanation, but you sure do feel a compulsive need to turn the pages.

Before we begin, a confessi" Read more of this review »

Wolf by Jim Harrison
"I just finished Wolf and I’m still a little drunk on it - in the best possible way. This isn’t a tidy memoir or a neat novel; it’s a raw, whiskey-soaked ramble through the Michigan woods, memory, lust, failure, and the stubborn refusal to grow up on " Read more of this review »
