"I'm not sure......... I just can not understand the point of discussing which is superior, dialogue or dissemiation. This has deviated from pragmatic reality. For in life, we resort to both ways of communication, not solely one of them.
But I reckon, it is plausible that the author trys to convince the reader that the communication patho -- the impossibility of mutuality -- is not something to be lament about."

“We’re in such a hurry most of the time we never get much chance to talk. The result is a kind of endless day-to-day shallowness, a monotony that leaves a person wondering years later where all the time went and sorry that it’s all gone. ”
Robert M. Pirsig, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry Into Values

Virginia Woolf
“Mrs Dalloway is always giving parties to cover the silence”
Virginia Woolf, Mrs. Dalloway

Robert M. Pirsig, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry Into Values

Virginia Woolf
“It was a silly, silly dream, being unhappy.”
Virginia Woolf, Mrs. Dalloway
