“Where is an intimate
friend
who’ll hear the secret
from me straight out–
of what human beings
have been
from the moment they began?
They
are
born
of toil
and molded
from
the clay of sorrow.
They wander the world for a time,
then
set
off.”
― Omar Khayyám, Edward Fitzgerald's The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam

“Truth is a pathless land.”
― Jiddu Krishnamurti

“Be kind to your sleeping heart.
Take it out in the vast field of light
And let it breathe.”
― Hafez

“Realise this: one day your soul
will depart from your body and you will
be drawn behind the curtain that floats between us
and the unknown. While you wait for that moment, be happy,
because you don't know where you came from and
you don't know where you will be going.”
― Omar Khayyám, The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam
