Great novel. Intriguing and entertaining. So many events and names in this novel about Peter the Great and his second wife Catherine Alexeyevna. Some were disturbing and unbelievable. It provoked alot of Wikipedia searches to find out more about people and events. The author did take some liberties, but so much of it was true. I cannot wait for her follow up novel.
