"I really want to enjoy this book. The initial few pages were breezy, but as we get deeper into the book it's making too many philosophical and literary references I can't grasp cause I don't know those. It's impairing my readability of the book because I really want to immerse myself but have to stop to figure out the allegories and references. The prose also feels a tad dry.
