Maria Dahvana Headley
“Here's the truth of the world, here it is. You're never everything anyone else wants. In the end it's going to be you, all alone, on a mountain, or you, all alone, in a hospital room. Love isn't enough and you do it anyway. Love isn't enough and it's still this thing that everyone wants.”
Maria Dahvana Headley, The Mere Wife

Kelly Barnhill
“Science, I truly believe, is humanity's only hope, and it is in science, today and always, that I will put my trust.”
Kelly Barnhill, When Women Were Dragons

Jordy Rosenberg, Confessions of the Fox

Alix E. Harrow
“Seems to me they're the same thing, more of less. Witching and women's rights. Suffrage and spells. They're both...They're both a kind of power, aren't they? The kind we aren't allowed to have.”
Alix E. Harrow, The Once and Future Witches
