"Re-read. Good mixture of explainations and relevant studies to back up their arguments. However, the studies and data usually focus on Indian, and I would have prefered more information from other parts of the world. Overall recommended reading for anyone iterested in development." — Nov 15, 2012 09:00AM

"Good read for the first 3/4 and a compelling story, but gets overly heavy handed with explaining socialism. My version was also the 'edited' version that had some final original chapters cut out." — Nov 15, 2012 08:58AM
