“Put your hand on your heart,'
the old man said.
'Inside you, there is a power,
there are ideas,
thought that no one has ever thought of,
there is the strength to love,
purely and intensely,
and to have someone love you back -
there is the power to make people happy,
and to make people laugh -
it's full compliments,
and the power to change lives and futures.
Don't forget that power,
and don't ever give up on it.”
― Atticus Poetry

“Take this as your reminder. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear darkness, some wear wounds.”
― Nikita Gill, Fierce Fairytales: Poems and Stories to Stir Your Soul

“she was too much of a warrior
to be considered a princess
she never cared for the crown
she preferred a sword”
― R.H. Sin

“That sadness that you do not speak of,
that haunts you in the ache of midnight.
Give it to me.
I want to heal that.”
― Nikita Gill
