“Πηγα στο δωματιό μου και με αργά βήματα, δίχως να ανάψω το φως, κατευθήνθηκα στο παράθυρο. Με είχε κυριεύσει η σιωπή. Η μοναξιά. Άνοιξα τα φύλλα του παραθύρου για να αναπνέω τον νυχτερινό αέρα και μετά ακούμπησα απαλά στο πλαινό περβάζι. Έφερα τα χέρια γύρω μου και προσπάθησα να νιώσω ζεστασιά. Ένιωθα κρύα μέσα. Παγωμένη.
