Flynn and Dale fucking with their door open while their client is angry & whiny in the bathroom bc he has to shave? kind of a mood

I always think of FCR as a very low-heat series, and that is true for book1, but damn, in this one Dale and Flynn are at it basically all the time?! I guess since it's not explicit it doesn't seem like it, but it's still very definitely sexual.

Flynn and Paul are so soft and gentle together, there is so much love and respect between the two of them, so much understanding even when Flynn is in one of his moods, every scene with just the two of them is a delight to read.

from Mason's POV it suddenly gets easy to see why some people find Dale scary... he really CAn be scary omg

on to the longest part of the series! here on GR there is a seperate Everest part, so I'm treating this one here as "just" the ranch part (which is still twice the length of the other books). I kinda wish there was a chronological order of Ranch/Everest chapters, I would like to try and read them parallel until they merge at the end.

Still love this series. I'm on Dale's side of the story (as opposed to Tom), but it is hard to get back to it when it is a web series and I've been traveling a lot. A .pdf or mobi would be awesome.

also all of Dale's memories of living with his Mom make me cry.
Mason is suprisingly fun to read about, Luath thinking about Roger makes me teary eyes, and Ash and Gerry are the best <3
Also funny how Tom keeps talking about everyone as bunny when he and Jake are the ones who go at it like rabbits (I bet Phoenix is jealous)

This story gets more and more interesting. I'm fascinated with attachment theory and what I'm reading is consistent with what I know.

Where you find those gates in yourself they have to be dealt with in order to be stable, healthy, capable of being what you are meant to be.

Poor dearest Dale. Its all so heartbreaking to see him like this. But what a strength the other four has.
