That is the end of the Mark book. I'd give it a 3 stars so far. Sometimes Ryle says something great, sometimes he says something I disagree with, and sometimes it's wacky. As far as commentary's go, there are hardly any references to the OT of showing any kind of connection, it's kind of like his thoughts written down just after reading it and thinking about it. So there are some good uses for this, but not great yet

Finished Mark! Though I may disagree with some of Ryle’s conclusions, his words have a timeless quality and he’s able to communicate truth simply and clearly.

Only reading the Mark commentary right now but might as well start my progress for this. Might be years before I actually read all the books though.

Just finished the Matthew volume. I’m so struck by Ryle’s concise commentary and how he is able to communicate both simple and complex scriptural truths so clearly.
