Status Updates From Hunted by the Omega

I'm disappointed in this. Clearly Fitz understands nothing about being a werewolf and there has been no teaching him. I'm getting tired of the constant cycle a trying to kill, fuck it out, then feeling bad and understanding dude knows nothing.

Oof… I REALLY should have finished the other series before starting this book. It said same world stand alone… I didn’t realize time frame details would play into it and those characters would make appearances. 😫

I don’t think this author’s style is for me. This is my second book by this author, and, although I am deeply attracted to the ideas and themes in their stories, the delivery has consistently been simplified, short, sentences, full of basic, declarative statements. And the emotions all lack nuance.

The rake of his claws down my back. There is no sign of either left on my flesh and I wish that shifter healing wasn’t so good. I want to wear his marks. I hate him. I want him. I hate that I want him.

These enemies-to-lovers, never mind that we're in shifter universe, are gripping to witness.
