I like Mr. Eger. I think he's a good, caring, kind guy. However, I'm finding it hard to follow him. It seems chapter after chapter he is stating intention after intention in writing the book, but I do not know how much he is proving/spending time in his intentions. I think he should have had a couple very important intentions in writing the book and expanded more on those one or two versus a plethora of them.

I loved Mark Twain's quote on Wagner's music on page 24. I did throughly enjoy the "history" of music chapters. I felt like I was taking a trip down memory lane reading about how the Bible mentions music with a harp, and the history of the first sounds, and onward from there. We know immediately Eger's take on how to bring about a social change: it involves (music), sounds, and being heard in a mass setting.
