Status Updates From Boy in Darkness and Other S...

Is this the third time I’ve read ‘Boy in Darkness’ in the past six months? Yes… but my flimsy reasoning for a needless re-read is being augmented by the fact that I’d like to read Peake’s short stories (which just so happen to be housed in the same edition as a printing of ‘Boy in Darkness.’)

I began to be irritated by the way in which my body was propelling itself forward in complete disregard to any objective. It is absurd enough to find yourself on your way somewhere or another without wishing to reach any such place, but to travel like an automaton to an unknown destination appeared to me to be unhealthy and ludicrous.
