Status Updates From Heroes of Chaos (The Three ...

I really feel for the protagonist. He has had his ups & downs. Life hasn't gone the way he wished. He's still a prisoner to the people who conquered HIS people & AGAIN, he has been used to conquer his own people (to encourage them to "take the deal" presented to them), even though it will enslave them...worse than before.

Also, he's still just a kid, making mistakes, that his "saviour" uses to knock him down with.

Seeing what our main character goes through, being JUST thirteen years old. No childhood, but shaped to be a soldier, a man, at such a young age. Life and death are imminently changeable in a blink of an eye.

In some ways, he's wise above his years, but in others...he's still this little boy...living in a world with SO many things that are trying to take him out. Sad to see.

I'm back in this period of Chinese history (Han Dynasty), but this fight feels SO intimate. The characters have history (generally), but they also have personal history with EACH other. That's was I'm feeling...as I read this adventure. Our protagonist KNOWS these men. Some he respects, some he doesn't, but in time...he will get his revenge. I'm there for it.
