One thing that really bugs me is how a lot of the dialogue is not essential and does nothing for the story. Sure, it lends a sense of authenticity to the characters but it just seems wasteful. Actually, a lot of the dialogue is weak and with very few exceptions (such as Ari) many if the characters sound similar. Both Sean and Nola keep saying "Anyway," for example which just doesn't work as well as it could have.
